Fixed Deposit Account

The Fixed Deposit Account is designed to help members save lump sums of money for investment or planned future use over a specified period. This account allows members to earn interest while keeping their savings secure. The longer the fixed period, the higher the interest earned.

Requirements to Open a Fixed Deposit Account

• Must be a registered society member
• Photocopy of a valid National ID
• Duly filled and signed Fixed Deposit application form

Other Attributes of the Fixed Deposit Account

• Minimum fixed amount: KES 50,000
• Minimum fixed period: One (1) month
• Early withdrawal: Withdrawing funds before the agreed maturity period results in forfeiture of the agreed interest
